The Department of Microbiology is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. It focuses on the study of microorganisms and their applications in health, industry, agriculture, and the environment. The department trains students to understand microbial life and its impact on humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems. With well-equipped laboratories and experienced faculty, it provides a solid foundation for careers in medicine, biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical industries, public health, and academic research.

Established in 2020, the Faculty of Science has grown from a small department to a comprehensive faculty with twelve departments. Over the years, we have maintained a tradition of excellence in teaching and research, producing graduates who have made significant contributions to scientific knowledge and technological advancement both nationally and internationally.
