How do I access the University E-Library?

Access to the E-Library does not require any form of registration, however when you encounter problems while trying to navigate the site then you may send us a mail or come to the elibrary unit with your ID Card.

How do I get username and password for Databases?

You may use our online chat tool, E-mail, or Request Form to reach out to us, remember to scan your ID Card as a means of Identification. You may also wish to appear physically to the Library with your ID card.

Which database is suitable for my field of study?

The library is subscribed to numerous databases that covers all fields, you may send us an email with your specialization, or chat with us using our online chat tool and appropriate guidance will be given to assist you.

What time does the library opens and closes?

The library opens at 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m West African Time, from Monday to Friday. On saturday the Library opens at 9:00 a.m and closes at 4:00 p.m. Library are closed on public holidays.

Is there access to an active Internet connectivity?

Yes, there is active fast internet connectivity in the Library, it has a large coverage, though it doesn't extend to the hostels.

How do I register with the library and the E-library?

You only need to register with the library at the circulation unit, once you've registered with the library, then you have access to the e-library.

Must I be in the library to have access to the e-resources?

The e-resources can be accessed from anywhere, there is no boundary for time and space. All you need to access it online is your devices with an active internet on it. our staff are available 24 hours to assist you with anything you may need.

Why is Online Databases so important?

Because publications/research output published in these online databases which the University have subscribed for are authentic and verifiable information. These research outputs have gone through peer review before it was accepted for publication.
