INVITATION FOR VIRTUAL POST-UTME/DE SCREENING EXERCISE FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria is in the process of commencing its admission exercise for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. ELIGIBILITY Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2024 UTME or Direct entry and have chosen the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as First Choice are eligible for the exercise. The UTME candidate must have passed O’Level at credit level in at least five (5) relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings and have scored a minimum cut-off marks stated below. For the Direct Entry (DE) Candidates, the University accepts a minimum of Second Class lower in relevant Science courses or IJMB with a minimum of 14 points from combination of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. 1. COLLEGE OF MEDICINE • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) – 240 and above • B.Sc. Biochemistry – 220 and above • B.Sc. Microbiology – 220 and above 2. FACULTY OF SCIENCE • B.Sc. Computer Science – 200 and above • B.Sc. Chemistry – 180 and above • B.Sc. Biostatics – 180 and above • B.Sc. Biological Sciences – 180 and above • B.Sc. Mathematics – 180 and above • B.Sc. Physics – 180 and above Candidates who scored 220 and above in UTME could be allowed to take alternative course during the screening exercise from the following programmes: • B. Pharmacy • B. Nursing Science • B. Medical Lab. Science The Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening will be through a virtual interface with candidate with effect from Monday 10th – Friday 14th February, 2025. The date and time for individual candidate Virtual screening will be communicated through the candidate’s email address after completing the online screening form via, www.fuhso.edu.ng Candidates who wish to switch to this University should effect the change on the JAMB portal and select the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as the university of first choice. Such a candidate should select the desired programme for which he/she has the requisite UTME subject combinations and relevant O’Level results. The Candidate should ensure that his/her O’Level results are successfully uploaded on the JAMB portal for admission. Any candidate whose results are not uploaded will not be available on JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and therefore will not be eligible for admission. NOTE Candidates are expected to await the virtual screening link that will be sent through their e-mail address, specifying the date and time for the screening.
